Rapé
Pronounced “ha-peh” or “rapay”, Rapé is a fine, ground-up shamanic snuff. It has been used for thousands of years for sacred and spiritual practices. It is said that rape` connects us to the spirits of the forest and to the power of the God
of Creation. It is frequently used in spiritual practice by shamans and tribes in Brazil and Peru. The use of tobacco in these cultures tends to be different than around the globe: it’s used in ceremony and for healing rather than as addiction like smoking cigarettes.

Rapé is taken through the nose, one nostril at a time, using a bamboo or bone pipe, called a Tepi. The user will experience sensations ranging from mild to intense depending on the type of Rapé and what the client is looking to expereince. Different Rapé do different things, some Rapé are for cleansing the body of toxins and bad energy, some are to ground and stablize the nervous system, others to works as a way to connect to the spirit realm. Each ceremony will be on a base on what each client is needing or wanting.
Sananga
Sananga is a traditional Amazonian eye medicine, sometimes called “Lightning in the eye”. It is made from the shredded root of the shrub, Tabernaemontana Sanana or Undulata. It is a part of the Apocynanceae plant family which is the same plant family as Iboga. The active principle ingredient of sananga is ibogaine.
Sananga, also known as Bechette, has traditionally been used by the tribes to sharpen vision and enhance perception to help with hunting. It is still used by many tribes in the Amazon, however, its benefits are now reaching the rest of the world.
The Kaxinawa explain that Sananga works in two main energetic healing
ways which are Physical and Spiritual.

Sananga is administered to the eyes with a dropper, 1-2 drops in each eye will be added depending on what the client is looking for. Once the drops are added the client will open their eyes and begin their medicine journey, sananga does cause a very intense burning sensation in the eyes, the burning sensation one can feel after administration causes the release of endorphins, chemicals produced by the body to ease pain. These stay in the body after the sananga is gone, leading to a feeling of utmost relaxation.
Ceremony Flow
• Opening the space with the sharing of intentions and prayers for personal journey
• You will be asked to lay down as to administer the Sananga, 1-2 drops will be placed in each eye.
• You will feel an intense burning sensation in the eyes, this is temporary and short lived. 2-5 mins
• Than you will be asked to sit up and receive Rapé, during this time you will remain silent as to keep a meditative state. (unless you have concerns or fears)
• Rapé is given through the nose, one nostril at a time, using a bamboo or bone pipe, called a Tepi.
• You may feel intense burning that follows through the sinus up into the head and down the neck.
• You will be given somatic ques if necessary to help you stay in the body and with the sensation.
• You will than sit with the medicine for 10-15 mins
• I will preform a 20 min sound bath as you continue to relax into your experience with the medicine.
• After we will have a short integration of the experience.
• You can expect to feel grounded, lighter, clarity, focus, and connected
